mushroom
FORT STEVENS — Join an Oregon State Park
Ranger for a guided hike for wild mush-
rooms at Fort Stevens State Park. The hike
will focus on the varieties of wild mushroom
that grow in the area.
Hikes will be offered at 1 p.m. on the
following dates:
• Thursday, Sept. 27
• Friday, Oct. 5
• Saturday, Oct. 13
• Thursday, Oct. 18
• Friday, Oct. 19
• Sunday, Nov. 4
• Friday, Nov. 9
• Sunday, Nov. 25
Participants should plan on wearing
weather-appropriate clothing, and should
bring a basket, pocket knife and mushroom
identification book if they have them.

Hikes will begin at Battery Russell and will
be about a 1-mile round trip. There is no
registration or fee required.
