NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Astoria Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Astoria City Hall,
Council Chambers, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria. The purpose of
the hearing is to consider the following request(s):
1. Variance Request (V18-07) by Joseph Michael Fortier from the
maximum 30% lot coverage to 38% lot coverage to construct a
porch on the rear of an existing single-family dwelling at 193 W.
Duane Street (Map T8N R9W Section 7DC, Tax Lot 2300; Lot 1 &
2, Block 4, Trullingers) in the R-1 Zone (Low Density Residential).
2. Variance Request (V18-10) by Ben Bradshaw from the off-street
parking requirements of one spaces to operate a one-bedroom
Home Stay Lodging (transient lodging) with zero off-street park-
ing in an existing single-family dwelling at 510 Duane Street (Map
