at Buoy 10

ecreational fishermen, guides and a handful of weekend warriors all began gathering
at the Hammond Marina beginning last week for the start of the Buoy 10 salmon sea-
son. The boats typically take to the water before the sun comes up. After a few skill-
ful cuts with a sharp knife at a cleaning station, a long line of happy clients hauled the
bright red salmon fillets back to their vehicles, destined for the freezer back home.
