This year, the Portland Royal Rosarians and the Astoria Regatta honors various dignitaries
with a planting of selected roses. The celebration will be held at Lighthouse Park at the

REGATTA ONE-MILE FUN RUN

One-mile race, hosted by the City of Astoria, is run along the Grand Land Parade route just
before the parade gets underway. Both male and female race winners each receive $100.

The annual gathering for the past admirals and presidents of the Astoria Regatta will be
held this year for the first time on board the historic Tourist #2 ferry at Pier 39. This event is

SAILBOAT RACES
1:00 - 4:00 P.M. • ASTORIA YACHT CLUB, WEST MOORING BASIN • FREE
All weekend long, the Astoria Yacht Club will hold its annual Regatta Sailboat Races.
Saturday, with wind permitting, you can view the races east of the Astoria-Megler Bridge,
toward the Maritime Museum. Sunday’s races will be held to the west of the bridge.

Before the sun goes down, at high tide, gather with us all along the Columbia Riverfront
for the annual Regatta Boat Parade. Participating captains get one day of free mooring at
