We have been operating continuously as an electric shop since 1910! DH
and Norma Wadsworth purchased it in 1962 from Irwin Morrison and
renamed it Wadsworth Electric. In 1976 daughter and son- in- law Cheryl
& Rod became the owners. Since 2009,
grand daughter Cass Liljenwall has
been manager. Our family would like
to say thank you, in appreciation of our

Sweetly Celebrating 55 Years!
On April 1, 1963 the doors to Bruce’s Candy Kitchen
opened and Treva & Bruce Haskell entered the candy busi-
ness. With our trademark pink & white exterior stripes, a few
candy recipes and lots of love they set out on what would
become a 5th generation owned and operated family busi-
ness. Over the last 55 years our family has greatly enjoyed
serving our homemade treats to generations of visitors to
Cannon Beach. In 2011, we expanded our business to the
Seaside Outlet Mall, so the communities of Cannon Beach
and Seaside could both enjoy the wonderful treats we offer.
We take great pride in producing the freshest and tasti-
est salt water taffy, hand dipped chocolates, caramel corn,
peanut brittle & more to our loyal customers and first time
visitors. We love that something as simple as a piece of taffy
can become a life long memory for many of our customers,
as generations of families enjoy our sweets. We are honored
to be making sweet memories since 1963 and look forward
to making many, many more!

Astoria Janitor & Paper Supply, has been a locally-
owned company since 1952, serving the community

Del Thompson went to work for OK Rubber Welders in 1952. Then in 1962 he
bought the business. In 1978 Klyde took over as manager and co-owner with
Harriet Thompson. He bought out Harriet in 1997, so Klyde and his wife Mary
Kaye are the present owners.
In 1983, Klyde was one of the founders of the NW Tire Factory Group, which
has grown to over 200 locations in 33 years. In 2015, Tire Factory merged with
Point S Tire and Auto Group, bringing the number of locations in North America
and Europe to over 4,000.
