COURTESY LABOR TEMPLE BAR
ASTORIA — The North
Coast Swim Club will
have a Benefit Night at
Fort George Brewery from
4:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday,
July 31.
The Swim Club, a non-
profit largely run by parent
volunteers, is a year-round
competitive swim club that
has been around for more
than 40 years. The club
provides education in the
sport of swimming to ath-
letes ranging from 6 to 18
years old. All practices and
two hosted swim meets a
year are held at the Astoria
Aquatic Center.
During Benefit Night,
all net profits from Fort
George’s upstairs sales
will be donated to our
club. There will also be a
silent auction with very
cool items. All proceeds
will go toward purchas-
ing a competition digital
scoreboard; the current
one is no longer service-
able.

about the Swim Club, visit
