This family-style seafood meal features various dishes by local chefs, coffee, lemonade, corn and potatoes, fresh craw- fish caught from local waters, and no-host beer and wine. Crawfish are served at 7 p.m., cooked two different ways: sweet Brownsmead style, and spicy Louisiana style. There is no entry to the event without a ticket, and none will be sold at the door. Tickets, which must be pur- chased by Aug. 1, cost $25 per person or $8 for children younger than 10, and are avail- able online at bit.ly/Grange- Boil or at Old Towne Framing in Astoria and Two Old Goats feed store in Knappa. On Thursday, the pub- lic is invited to hear keynote speaker, award-winning author Nancy Bartley, at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Necanicum Room at the Seaside Conven- tion Center. She is presenting “Persistence, Courage: Surviv- Relay For Life Relay For Life of Clatsop County’s fundraiser, ‘Rockin’ Out Cancer,’ held July 7 and July 8, raised almost $47,000.
