t doesn’t really matter whether you call it football or soccer. Peo-
ple around the world refer to it as “the beautiful game,” and for
the last few weeks, it has been front and center on the world stage
in Russia. And while the World Cup may be playing out halfway
around the world and getting ready to wrap up this weekend, high
school athletes in Clatsop County are practicing for summer leagues.
