tal Assessment prepared for
Airport Improvement Project
22, Taxiway Alpha Realign-
ment Planning and Permitting,
the Federal Aviation Adminis-
tration has issued a Finding of
No Significant Impact (FON-
SI).
The taxiway realignment proj-
ect involves disturbance of
8.3 acres of which 1.53 acres
are identified as wetlands.
The Port of Astoria, as proj-
ect Sponsor, has prepared a
Biologic Assessment and an
Environmental Assessment,
complied with all local, state
and federal agency process
requirements for the project,
and purchased 1.53 cred-
its from a wetland mitigation
bank as compensation for
disturbance of the native wet-
lands.
The permitting process also
addressed a planned ramp
rehabilitation project which is
the replacement of existing
concrete slabs and does not
impact any undisturbed land.

able for a ten day information-
al review during normal busi-
