Tugboat and barge reportedly hit boat on Columbia River PORTLAND — Officials say a tugboat and barge hit a smaller vessel on the Colum- bia River, tossing the smaller boat’s occupants into the water. The Oregonian reported that there were no injuries in the Wednesday morning collision.
