The open house will include information on athlet- ics, clubs and academic fore- casting assistance. Principal Rod Heyen and current high schoolers will address attend- ees at 6:30 p.m. There will be tours of the high school and assistance with academic forecasting at 7 p.m. The high school is located at 1700 S. Main Ave. Nominate your favorite Astoria teachers, staff for awards The Daily Astorian Nominations are open for the Astoria School District’s best teachers. The three awards, part of the A Tradition of Excel- lence program, recognize a teacher, support staffer and a team collaboration. A nom- ination committee made of staff, teachers, administrators and a school board member review applications and select winners.
