Ceramics, mixed media, pen-and-ink at Hoffman Gallery

March, the Hoffman Center
Art Gallery is featuring
mixed media by Den-
nis Worrel, pen-and-ink
drawings by Reed Wilson
and textured ceramics by
North Coast potters. The
show runs 2 to 5 p.m. every
Friday and Saturday, March
2 through 30.
An artists’ reception
will be held 2 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, March 3, and the
public is invited!
Worrel’s recent works,
called “Remembrances,”
stem from his interest in the
Oregon Coast, his home for
the past 20 years. Working

connection by merging sto-
ries we bring with memo-
ries and stories from people
who came before us.
Wilson, a physician and
lifelong illustrator, will
show his delicate and de-
tailed postage stamp-sized
pen-and-ink drawings of
moths.
Ten North Coast cerami-
cists will show work that il-
lustrates how incorporating
texture into ceramic adds
depth, interest and story.
The Hoffman Center
Art Gallery is a program of
the not-for-profit Hoffman
Center for the Arts (594
Laneda Ave.) in Manzanita.
