Clatsop County Fair & Expo
Request for Proposal
2018 Food & Beverage
Concession Stand
The Clatsop County Fair & Expo is requesting proposals from
businesses or persons interested in providing food and beverage
service to the public during specific scheduled events.
The successful proposer will enter into an agreement with Clatsop
County to use an existing concession sales and kitchen area lo-
cated in the Exhibit Hall area of the Fair & Expo facility.
The facility will select a proposal that best demonstrates the ability
to provide products and services considering pricing, quality and
nutritional value suitable for a varied audience. Consideration will
also be given to professional appearance and cleanliness stan-
dards.
In 2018 there are currently 12 events scheduled for which food
concession services have been requested. In 2018 the first such
event is scheduled the weekend of February 17.
Proposals may be submitted in person, by U.S. Mail, or electroni-
cally and should include the following information:
• Name, business name, business address, e-mail address and
telephone number.
• The legal name of the organization, firm, individual or partnership
submitting the proposal, and signed by the official who is legal
authorized to bind the organization.
• A list of at least three business references.
• A menu/list of proposed available concession items with pricing.
• A proposed concession fee of a minimum of 10% of gross sales.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the Fair & Expo site prior to
submitting a proposal.
An agreement will be awarded on an annual basis and may be
renewed for up to five years.
The successful proposer will be expected to abide by all County
and State laws, all business licensing requirements, and Clatsop
County Health Department requirements.
The successful proposer must also procure and maintain in full
force through the term of the agreement Comprehensive General
Liability Insurance with coverage limits of at least $1 million per
occurrence, and $2 million aggregate, name Clatsop County as
additionally insured.

Proposals must be received by no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday,
