THE DAILY ASTORIAN • WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2018
‘It will be one year on Saturday since
President Donald Trump was inaugurated. How’s he doing?’
“I don’t think he’s
doing very well.
Especially for the
middle class.”
“He’s a historical
disgrace. I don’t
know what else to
say. I think it’s dis-
graceful to support
that man.”
THE DAILY ASTORIAN // QUESTION OF THE WEEK
“I’m not happy
with him. I’m very
disappointed in his
results and proce-
dures.”

Flooding is expected in
low-lying areas. The event
will likely be similar to floods
caused by high swells in the
area in December of 2015 that
impacted structures. Willapa
Bay, Nehalem, Tillamook and
Florence will also be affected.
“Structures and roads
located
immediately
at
beach level will potentially
be flooded or impacted by
debris,” according to a press
release from the weather ser-
vice. “Many cove access
beaches, jetties, and rocky out-
croppings will be covered by
deep water.”
Residents are advised to
prepare property and avoid
beaches and areas that may be
cut off to escape routes.
