Visitors meet artists, check out original art, sip wine and snag appetizers by favorite restaurants or personal chefs, view artist demonstrations and, oftentimes, enjoy live music performances. The free event is all about seeing and selling art in the galleries and boutiques located between Holladay Drive and Broadway Street in the historic Gilbert District of downtown Seaside. This year her theme is “Merry Mermaids,” featuring mermaid tree-toppers, statues, ornaments and a new line of earrings she calls “The Mermaid in Me.” She will also have music paper tabletop Christmas trees, wall decor and driftwood hanging lamps, all made with locally found ephemera.
