Mission Statement:
Seaside Scholarships is a non-profit
organization formed to raise money to
develop and allocate scholarships for future
graduates off Seaside High school.
Vision/Goals:
Several years ago, a Seaside High school
counselor and an involved parent, wrote a
grant to establish a scholarship non-profit
for Seaside High School. With help from
school Secretary Cathy Kabanuk, Seaside
Scholarships became a reality. In five short
years, Seaside Scholarships have gone from
awarding one scholarship in its first year of
existence, to this past year awarding several
scholarships and Investment grants to
deserving students.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Seaside Scholarships strives for broad distribution of scholarships with varying criteria. Despite financial background and
success or struggles with school, we believe all students have a right to further their education. Seaside Scholarships wants
to maximize local students’ access to funds for college or technical school.
Seaside Scholarships is governed by a volunteer board of directors who are working toward establishing an endowment
for Seaside High School graduates.
