PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Land Is Our Legacy. For 30 years, North Coast
Land Conservancy has been preserving Oregon’s most
vital coastal landscapes from Astoria to Lincoln City. As
an accredited, non-profit land trust, we acquire strategic
lands and manage a living network of coastal habitats
necessary to support abundant wildlife and diverse
community needs, now and forever.
We all share Oregon’s coastal landscape: people and
wildlife, farmers and timber companies, merchants and
developers, school, municipalities, and community
groups. The health of our communities depends upon
a healthy landscape.
North Coast Land Conservancy is made up of
dedicated staff, board members, volunteers, and
community partners who work together to:
ACQUIRE strategic lands and hold them in public
trust in perpetuity;
ENRICH the ecological integrity of the region by
connecting natural landscapes;
STEWARD the land by restoring or actively
maintaining its natural state;
PROMOTE hands-on experiences, forging
connections to nature and each other;
CONNECT the many benefits of conservation to our
daily lives; and
SAFEGUARD priceless ecological and cultural
values for future generations.
