To honor and preserve the history
of U.S. Naval Vessel LSM 380 and the
conversion to the world's most
successful salvage ship, MV Salvage
Chief (1947-2009). A tribute to all the
mariners, divers, riggers and pilots
who accomplished hundreds of
successful missions with this
incredible ship.
We are a 501c3 foundation.
“Donations to the Salvage Chief
(LSM380) Foundation are directly
used to prepare the Salvage Chief for
its public mission in preparing for
Regional Emergencies as well as
educating the Public of its Historic
significance to the successful rescues
of hundreds of stricken vessels. No
Donation Funds are used to pay
administrative salaries.”
