Mission Statement/
Vision/Goals:
To serve the residents of Astoria
with emergency food in a positive
supportive environment, that
respects their individual needs and
nutritional desires.
Clatsop Emergency Food bank
is an equal opportunity provider.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Clatsop Emergency Food Bank has been serving residents of Astoria from this location since 1975. It is volunteer
supported, by those who work in service, distribution, stocking etc. Funding to support the purchase of food subsidies is also
volunteer based and we have always been supplied by generous community members who support this endeavor.
We are open 5 days a week Monday-Friday from 3:00-4:00, and serve approximately 150-200 households every month with
200 volunteer hours donated by 60 volunteers. It takes a village to support this kind of work, and it is with great joy and
satisfaction we endeavor to serve the community.
