Recent U.S. Senate proposals to cut funding for Med-
icaid would severely affect rural hospitals. Concerned
about this financial threat, members of Indivisible
North Coast Oregon have been rallying in their sup-

Warrenton Library extends
hours, announces wish list

WARRENTON — With
the help of two new volun-
teers, the hours at Warren-
ton Community Library,
160 S. Main Ave., are
changing and expanding in
October. The new hours are
1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Tues-
day, Thursday and Friday;
1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday; and
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Story time is still at 11 a.m.
Saturday.
The library also has a
wish list that includes door
mats, movie posters, doors,
a planter bench, plants and
planters, subscriptions, and
a new book return drop

The Pacific Unitarian Universalist Fellow-
ship holds a service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the
Performing Arts Center, 588 16th St. Chris-
tine Yeight talks about “The Human Brain
and its Relation to Climate Change.” Reli-
gious education for the children is available
each week following the “Moment with the
Children” near the beginning of the service.
A discussion led by Gary Webb on
“Buddhism: What Wisdom Did the Bud-
dha Offer?” follows the service. The pub-
lic is welcome to the service and the social
time afterward.

The Right Rev. Michael Joseph Han-
ley, 10th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese

istering the Rite of Reception at the 10
a.m. service, and will visit with the con-
gregation following each service. There is
a forum during the coffee hour following
the 10 a.m. service, where he is available
for questions.
The labyrinth is available for walking
from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday. A labyrinth intro-
duction is offered at 3 p.m., upon request.
