Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. School Receptionist
2. Maintain student records for all current, past and new to Jewell students.
3. Maintain and submit school schedules in the Synergy system.
4. Primary support for incoming calls, relaying messages, attendance
recording, health room, assigning lockers, honor roll and GPA records,
Mealtime system recording, parent notification calls, buses etc.
5. May assist the business manager with petty cash, preparation of deposits,
general fund accounting, student body funds.
6. Principal secretary as well as support for counselor, business manager,
athletic director, dean and faculty as needed.
7. Maintaining federal student privacy laws and confidentiality.
Skills Required:
1. Synergy Experience
2. Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
3. Excellent Word Processing Skills
4. Ability to assist parents and students during the school day
5. Excellent phone skills and public relations ability

Sunset Empire Transportation District Board of Commissioners is
seeking candidates for a position on the Board that will become vacant
effective August 31, 2017.
This is an at large position so any registered voter in Clatsop County is
eligible to apply. This position will be active until June 30, 2019. The position
will be up for election in May of 2019. The Board meets monthly on the 4th
Thursday of each month at 9:00am at the Astoria Transit Center.
To be considered for the position, the Board requests that interested
candidates submit a letter of interest expressing your willingness to serve on
the Board. Please include your stated desire as to why you should be
considered. Also, please provide a brief biography or resume along with your
letter of interest.
