Community Bank has hired
of Rebecca Buck as vice
president and business devel-
opment officer.
“Ours is a business built
on relationships, and many
of those relationships are ini-
tiated by our business devel-
opment officers,” President
and CEO Joe Schulte said
in a release. “We’re excited
to bring Becky on board
and we’re confident that her
banking background and her
experience living and work-
ing in Clatsop County will be
an asset to our customers.”
Buck has worked in the
banking industry for about
30 years, and has been a
commercial lender for almost
25 years. She attended the
Western Banking Commer-
cial Lending School and the
National Institute of Bank-
ing. She will be based in the
Seaside office.

grant to The Way to Well-
ville’s Clatsop Kids Go
program for cultural and
educational
activities.
The in-school program
is designed to help kids
develop healthy behaviors
and positive attitudes around
physical activity, nutrition
and well-being.
“Clatsop Kids Go fits
perfectly with our founda-
tion objectives to support
and promote healthy activi-
ties for our Clatsop County
youth,” U.S. Bank Regional
President Kevin LaCoste
said.
The funds will be used to
hire a cultural event coordi-
nator and for field trips. Last
year, students in the program
visited the Seaside Museum
and Fort Clatsop, where they
enjoyed a presentation by
Roberta Basch on Native
American customs.

Youth (CADY) Mentoring Pro-

Clatsop Community Action
Regional Food Bank — Volun-
teers needed to help hand out
fruits and vegetables at the weekly
produce pantries for two hours on
Thursdays, from April to October,

house attendants are needed for
food packing or processing, picking
orders for agencies, light janitorial
and housekeeping, or lawn and
grounds maintenance. Three to
four-hour shifts are available Mon-

Clatsop Cruise Hosts — Look-
ing for volunteers to meet and greet
cruise ship passengers and crew,
