Oregon. It is a fully functional metalworking and blacksmithing shop with arti-
sans working daily. His preference is to concentrate on the quality of individual
pieces rather than production. Each piece is unique and hand made and unlike
many things today, they are meant to last a lifetime. Recently John has taken up
the art of bladesmithing, creating beautiful damascus knives.

ovated Sanborn Building on the corner of 10th and Marine
Drive. Owned by Astoria resident, Mike Wallis, the cellar
features over 4,000 bottles of fi ne wines and champagnes
from the Northwest and around the world along with wine
related gift s and accessories and gourmet foods for your
