Owner: Karen Shinabery’s roots run deep in Clatsop County. At
the young age of 15, her father owned and operated a saloon in
half the space where the Merry Time Tavern is now. She started her
work career at Oregon Linen,Wards and Hunts
Furniture followed by 28 years in the fabric
industry. Co-owners Bill Shinabery and Robert
Tikkala help keep the operation running
behind the scenes.

We have been operating continuously as an electric shop since 1910!
DH and Norma Wadsworth purchased it in 1962 from Irwin Morrison
and re-named it Wadsworth Electric. Son-in-law, electrician Rod
Gramson, took over in 1976, and since
2009, Wadsworth granddaughter and
supervising electrician Cass Liljenwall
