The Daily Astorian
Two additional arrests
have been made in an alleged
counterfeit scheme.
Conrad Allyn Weirup, 38,
of Astoria, and Kaneeya Pratt,
28, of Kelso, Washington,
were arrested over the week-
end and charged with fi rst-de-
gree forgery. The arrests come
after Astoria Police arrested
Neil Dowell, 29, of Astoria,
for allegedly passing fake $20
bills twice at Burger King on
Marine Drive last Wednesday.
Soon after he left the
restaurant the second time,
police stopped Dowell in
downtown Astoria and
charged him with two counts
of fi rst-degree forgery, two
counts of third-degree theft
and driving under the infl u-
