In Partnership with Clatsop County 4-H Create, Invent and Grow!
June 18 – Sept. 3 at Astoria Sunday Market – Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm • June 21 – Sept. 3 at Seaside Farmers Market – Wednesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm
Members of the Young Entrepreneurs
Club are selling their products at the
Market Biz Kidz tent starting in mid-June
at the Astoria Sunday Market. The Market
Biz Kidz create, invent or grow their
products for sale at the Market. We have
a very creative team of Young Entrepre-
neur’s this year! Stop by and see what
they’re selling.
New this year! Astoria Sunday Market is
collaborating with Sunset Empire Parks
and Recreation District to allow kids to
vend at its Wednesday Market. The
Seaside Farmer’s Market runs June 21 –
September 27 from 3 to 7 pm in the
parking lot adjacent to Seaside’s Visitor’s
Bureau. Kids who vend as part of the Biz
Kidz program in Seaside are eligible for
the Small Grants Program.
Small Grants Program
Thanks to Recology Western Oregon there
is a small grants program for Young Entre-
preneur’s. Grants range in size from $25 to
$100. Grant applications and guidelines are
available online. The deadline for
submission is October 16, 2017. A Young
Entrepreneur must vend at least five times to
qualify for the grant.
New Tents!
Thanks to Jeremy Mills State Farm we now
have two fabulous new tents with bright red
awnings. Jeremy has also helped us make
new connections in Seaside that are
enabling Seaside kids to participate in
Seaside’s Wednesday Market.
