WARRENTON — Gate-

Warrenton High School Honor
Student Banquet April 24 at the
Warrenton High Gymnasium.
There were about 200 in atten-
dance for the event, which fea-
tured a prime rib dinner by Vic
Kee and staff.
The guest speaker was Most
Worshipful Brother Arthur
L. Borland, Grand Master of
Masons in Oregon. He talked

along with lodge brothers, John
T. Carden and Forrest Hensley,
presented the idea to Gateway
Lodge for consideration, and
the idea was adopted.
The following scholarships
were awarded: $4,000 to Ray-
mond Alcobendas, Krista Mor-
rill, Nathan Ruscheinsky and
Gabrielle Schenbeck; $3,000
to Ryan Laforteza; $2,000 to
Katelynn Blodgett, Brenna
Flores-Borup, Luke Liljen-
wall, Sierra Lyons and Taylor
Owens; and $1,500 to Rachel
