Freedom Fisheries, a company based out of Mosier, was fined $10,800 by the state Department of Environmental Quality for Frances Ardell Jurasin the incident that occurred in January. Crew members of the Anne Marie dumped about a gallon of the oily water into the r iver, accord- ing to the state . Free park days in Washington state The Daily Astorian Visitors will be able to enter state parks in Wash- ington state without daytime passes twice this April. Free daytime use of the park will be allowed April 15 and April 22 — Earth Day. The passes, required for vehicle access, cost $30 for annual admission and $10 daily. Parks are open for free daytime use six more times after April this year. Passes will still be required for those days on state Department of Fish and Wild- life and Department of Natural Resources lands. Washington has more than 100 state parks that cover over 120,000 acres.
