PROJECT COORDINATOR.
The Project Coordinator is re-
sponsible to define, coordi-
nate, manage, participate in,
and follow to completion pro-
jects related to shellfish farm-
ing while reporting to a diverse
Board of Directors.
Requires a self-starting, dedi-
cated, and committed person
with ability to work independ-
ently, and who can assist in
pursuing the best interests of
the shellfish farming commu-
nity in Willapa Bay and Grays
Harbor. The ideal candidate
will have experience in the
day to day operations of an
association as well as project
management with an empha-
sis on technical agriculture
type
reporting,
scheduling,
budgeting,
computer
skills,
and team skills.
Knowledge
and
experience
with
inte-
grated
pest
management
plans a plus. The ability to
clearly communicate and work
with
regulatory
agencies,
shellfish growers, contractors,
researchers,
media,
and
elected officials is an impor-
tant aspect of this position. Lo-
cated in Pacific County, WA
this position requires some
travel and fieldwork, and is a
full time salaried position with
some benefits provided.
