The City of Gearhart Budget
Committee is seeking applications
for (3) vacancies. The budget com-
mittee is a 10 member committee
made up of the five members of
Gearhart City Council and an
equal number of citizens at large.
Citizen members must be at least
18 years of age, a registered voter
and reside within the Gearhart City
Limits. The purpose of the Budget
Committee is to review the budget
as prepared by the Budget Officer,
make changes if necessary and
approve the budget for City
Council
consideration. The budget committee
usually meets one evening a year,
with the possibility of one or two
additional meetings if necessary.
