Whale Watching Spoken Here is a weeklong program offered twice a
year as the gray whales migrate from Alaska to the warm lagoons in
Baja Mexico in the winter and return to Alaska in the spring. Trained
volunteers are stationed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at different locations
along the coastline in Oregon and Washington state to help visi-
tors spot the migrating whales. Locations include: Lewis & Clark
Interpretive Center, Ecola State Park and the Neahkahnie Mountain
Historic Marker turnout.
