LAS VEGAS — Already deeply divisive, America’s cam-
paign for president is quickly devolving into an ugly ight over
who has treated women worse: Donald Trump, whose White
House bid is loundering, or former President Bill Clinton, who
isn’t on the ballot.
Trump’s campaign is now openly signaling it will spend the
election’s inal month relitigating Bill Clinton’s marital affairs
and unproven charges of sexual assault, as well as his wife and
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s unveriied role in intim-
idating the women who were involved. But Trump is a deeply
imperfect messenger, given that his attacks on the Clintons’ treat-
ment of women are being overshadowed by a lood of allegations
that he kissed and groped women without their consent.
On Wednesday, The New York Times and the Palm Beach
Post reported stories about three women who alleged Trump had
inappropriately touched them. Separately, a People Magazine
reporter wrote a detailed irst-person account of being attacked
by Trump while interviewing the businessman and his wife,
Melania Trump.
The stories come less than a week after the publication of
a 2005 recording in which the Republican nominee boasted of
using his fame to kiss and grab women. The revelation prompted
a lood of Republicans to revoke their support for Trump, with
some even calling for him to drop out of the race — though a
handful of GOP oficials have since switched back to supporting
their party’s nominee.
Clinton adviser Jennifer Palmieri said the latest revelations
match “everything we know about the way Donald Trump has
treated women.”

wins the Nobel in literature
STOCKHOLM — Bob Dylan won the Nobel Prize in litera-
ture today for expanding the poetic possibilities of music with a
body of work that includes “Like a Rolling Stone,” “Blowin’ in
the Wind” and “Mr. Tambourine Man” — a stunning announce-
ment that marked the irst time the award has gone to a musician.

Prize in literature today, a stunning announcement that for
the first time bestowed the prestigious award on a mu-
sician for “having created new poetic expressions within
the great American song tradition.”
Reporters and others who had gathered at the Swedish Acad-
emy’s headquarters reacted with a loud cheer as the name of the
singer and songwriter was read out.
Dylan, 75, is widely regarded as the most inluential poet-mu-
sician of his generation.
His protest songs such as “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The
Times They Are A-Changin’” became anthems for the U.S. anti-
war and civil rights movements of the 1960s. His densely poetic
and image-rich “Mr. Tambourine Man” helped usher in the folk-
rock movement. And his 1965 “Like a Rolling Stone,” about
a rich and pampered young woman forced to fend for herself,
was pronounced the greatest song of all time by Rolling Stone
magazine.
Dylan is the irst American winner of the Nobel literature
prize since Toni Morrison in 1993.
The academy commended him for “having created new poetic
expressions within the great American song tradition.”
WASHINGTON — U.S.-launched Tomahawk cruise missiles
destroyed three coastal radar sites in Houthi-controlled territory
on Yemen’s Red Sea Coast early today, oficials said, a retalia-
tory action that followed two incidents this week in which mis-
siles were ired at U.S. Navy ships.
The strikes marked the irst shots ired by the U.S. in anger
against the Houthis in Yemen’s long-running civil war. The U.S.
previously only provided logistical support and refueling to the
Saudi-led coalition battling Yemen’s Shiite rebels known as
Houthis and their allies, including supporters of Yemen’s former
president, Ali Abdullah Saleh.
While the U.S. military has been focused on al-Qaida in
Yemen, the Houthis had not been a primary target of American
forces until the missile launches from Houthi-controlled territory
this week.
No information on casualties from the U.S. missiles was pro-
vided by American oficials. The three radar sites were in remote
areas, where there was little risk of civilian casualties or collat-
eral damage, said a military oficial who was not authorized to be
named and spoke on condition of anonymity.
The destroyer USS Nitze launched the cruise missiles, the
oficial said.
Airstrikes hit rebel-held
neighborhoods of Syria’s Aleppo
BEIRUT — Syrian opposition activists said today that more
than a dozen airstrikes were carried out overnight on rebel-held
parts of the northern city of Aleppo.
The airstrikes came a day after an air raid hit east Alep-
po’s biggest market, killing at least 15 people and leveling
buildings.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights
reported more than 20 airstrikes on eastern Aleppo, adding that
clashes were taking place between government forces and insur-
gents on the city’s northern edge.
The Halab Today TV channel reported “intense” airstrikes on
rebel-held parts of Syria’s largest city, adding that cluster bombs
were being dropped.

school and are not attending nor receiving other special-education
services from public schools.

provide educational programs and services for eligible children from
kindergarten through high school. These services are provided as
appropriate to each child’s needs and disability.
