Astoria student earns
scholarships from the
University of Montana

MISSOULA, Mon. —
Students at the University of
Montana recently received
scholarships for their commit-
ment to academic excellence
within their ields of study,
including Kathryn McClaine,
a senior from Astoria major-
ing in dance and lighting
design and technology.
McClaine earned a $1,000
Alexander and Virginia Dean
Scholarship and a $1,000
Odyssey of the Stars Dance
Scholarship from the School
of Theatre and Dance at
UM. She is a 2005 graduate
of Washington Academy of
Performing Arts Conserva-
tory High School, and is the
daughter of Scott and Helen
McClaine.
