Sessions run from 8:30 a.m.

ASTORIA — The Columbia
River Estuary Conference will
address “The Blob” and Climate
Change May 24-26 at the Liberty
Theater.
Regional scientists will present
new indings on species recovery,
restoration, research, and moni-
toring from the Lower Columbia
River and estuary.
This year, the conference will
focus speciically on climate
change, the warm blob off the
Paciic Coast, and other recent
anomalous conditions, and their
