to serve out the reminder of an unex-
pired term until June 30, 2017. This
is an opportunity to serve on a
Board of seven directors that serve
as the governing board of the Dis-
trict. The Health District, estab-
lished under ORS 440.315 to
440.410, provides nursing home,
intermediate care, residential,
memory and assisted living facili-
ties as well as in-home care serv-
ices.
The Boardʼs purpose is to establish
and approve policies for govern-
ance and operations of the District,
approve annual operating, cash
and capital budgets, approve long
term commitments, and evaluate
the performance of the Chief Ex-
ecutive Officer.
The Board meets regularly once per
month, on the fourth Tuesday, at
