RICKENBACH CONSTRUCTION PROJECT | 2007
BANKER’S SUITE
Client: Blue Mars
Location: Astoria, OR
Architect: Michelle Dieffenbach
Project Size: 5,000 Sq. Ft.
This project consisted in a complete restoration and remodel of the second floor into
a large suite. Some of the existing structure and much of the interior finishes were
repaired or replaced due to water damage. The windows were in such bad condition
they had to be removed and replaced with wood windows matching the dimensionsand
profile of the original windows. Rickenbach Construction sub-contracted with Bear
Windows to supply and install the historical windows. This work was completed while
the main floor was occupied as a commercial spa. This project received the Dr. Edward
Harvey Historical Preservation Award in 2007 from the City of Astoria.
