Sing, play along with ‘Messiah’
The North Coast Chorale is holding
its annual “Messiah” Sing-Along, Play-
Along Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Per-
forming Arts Center, 588 16th St. Those
who would like to sing or play an instru-
ment with the chorale should arrive by
3 p.m.

There is no cost for this event, but do-
nations will be accepted, and attendees are
encouraged to bring cash as well as canned
or dry goods for the Clatsop Emergency

Warrenton United Methodist
WARRENTON — A Song Ser-
vice is being held at 10 a.m. Sun-
day at Warrenton United Methodist
Church, 697 S. Main Ave. After the
steeple bell is rung, favorite songs
and Christmas carols begin the ad-
vent season during this hour of wor-
ship, anticipation and celebration.
On this traditional Sunday of Hope,
everyone is invited to select music and
call out favorite songs from three dif-
ferent hymnals and a variety of song
books. Dave Warren and Diane Curs,
on the organ and piano respectively,
are accompanying the singing. Anyone
with a musical instrument is invited to
come and add to the accompaniment.
Coffee is served at 9:30 a.m., and
a potluck lunch will be shared im-
