longtime rival Gentleman George Mi-
chael in the Paci¿c 1orthZest Pro :restling
heav\Zeight title match.
7he tZo Zrestlers take turns hurling in-
sults, building the excitement of the room
as they circle each other in the ring. George
appears to be up to something as he hides an
obMect in his mask. 7he croZd notices but the
ref doesn’t.
7he bell rings and the tZo Zrestlers trade
bloZs, CC appears to get an early Mump and
it looks like the clash is over. Suddenly, there
is a Àash of silver and Gentleman George
pokes CC in the neck Zith an obMect he pulled
from his mask. 7he croZd yells and boos, and
George has the upper hand.
The moves look natural. They should —
the tZo have been facing off against each other
for years.

as Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.
³That ring is a piece of history,´ -aime said,
³and it feels like it.´
Gentleman George Michael stuns CC and
tries to make his escape. Suddenly, $storia’s
2Zn Mac :ells runs from the stage and pushes
George back into the match. The villainous duo
.ellen and $nnie Raeth folloZ, teaming up on
:ells and throZing him in the ring as Zell.
The bell rings, and the match is declared a
tag-team battle.
'espite the inherent violence of Zrestling,
Jaime tries to keep the matches as PG-rated as
possible. He doesn’t alloZ sZearing, and there
is very rarely any blood. :hile other Zrestling
circuits use chair matches and racy language
to stir up emotion, P1P: relies on a connec-
tion Zith the audience and high-Àying moves
to keep the customers engaged.
The match ends Zith another tZist. 1early
defeated, Gentleman George Michael attacks
the Zrestling commissioner in the ring. He
is slapped Zith a one-month suspension and
as he leaves, an exhausted CC Poison grabs
the microphone and challenges him to anoth-
er match in January. The croZd cheers and
chants ³C-C C-C´ as an exhausted CC Poi-
son makes his Zay out the ring.
