The free event, a pot-
luck dinner and gathering of
friends and neighbors, cele-
brates the annual fall salmon
spawning run and welcomes
the salmon home. Those at-
tending are asked to bring a
favorite dish and their own
place settings, and to wait
until after the blessing to
serve themselves.
