Mission Statement:
The Lower Columbia Hispanic
Council (LCHC) is a community-
based organization whose mission
is the equitable integration of
resident Hispanics into the broader
social and economic fabric of the
Lower Columbia community.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
As the only Latino-focused organization on the
North Coast, our programs provide critical support
to Latino families living in Clatsop, Tillamook,
Columbia and Pacific (WA) counties.
Our programs and services include:
• Assistance with filing income tax returns
• Oregon Health Plan assistance
• Spanish GED program
• Basic literacy program
• Translation and interpreting services
• Financial literacy workshops and classes
• IDA (Individual Development Account)
• English classes
• Summer reading program for children
• Health workshops
• Lawyer and health services referrals
FUNDRAISING EVENTS
We hold two major cultural events and fundraisers each year. A Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is held in May and a
Hispanic Heritage Festival is held in September. The funds raised from these events are used to provide scholarships
for Clatsop County students.
CORPORATE GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Corporate sponsors may contribute in various ways: By sponsoring one of our two yearly cultural events, or by
becoming a yearly corporate sponsor. Sponsorship levels vary and depending on the level of sponsorship, it may
include recognition in flyers, posters, online and any on-air commercials. Premium sponsors will appear in our
newsletter, in the form of an ad or announcement 4 times during the year.

Monetary and technology donations are always accepted and appreciated. Please contact our office for more
