Coaster Theatre Playhouse PROGRAM OVERVIEW Each year the Coaster theatre produces 5 plays and 2 musicals selected to delight audiences of all ages. During the summer months we present 2 shows (a musical and play) that run in repertory from late June to early September. Since 1972 the Coaster Theatre Playhouse has brought the world to locals and visitors alike through the magic of live theatre. From 19th century Siam in The King and I to Victorian England in My Fair Lady, from a little Russian village in Fiddler on the Roof to a 1930s hotel suite in Lend Me a Tenor. We have ventured into fantasy with Into The Woods, several versions of Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol and recently Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. We have also solved thousands of mysteries and murders through the years with Agatha Christie and others.
