Quilting group for Lutheran
World Relief.
This group makes about
200 quilts a year, or 100 every
six months, to be donated to
provide warmth and comfort
to thousands of families as
they work to put their lives and
homes back together. Many of
these quilts will go to people
in Tanzania, Thailand, Peru,
or the Philippines; however,
some will be used locally or
wherever needed in the 8.S.
for families with the same
needs. Fabric used to make the
quilts is donated. To donate,
the group can use any cotton
fabric, including sheets.
