Public Notice of North Holladay Construction Project
The City of Seaside is currently putting the finishing touches to plans and
specifications for the North Holladay Road Reconstruction Project. This
is a major road reconstruction project that will be out to bid soon and is
scheduled to begin construction in mid to late October and see
substantial completion prior to next Memorial Day in May of 2016. The
project consists of the following major tasks: Sewer main
reconstruction, water main reconstruction, storm water reconstruction,
placement of all electrical utilities underground, installation of new
street and sidewalk, design of streetscape and storm water treatment
by a landscape architect, and installation of Seasideʼs signature light
poles and fixtures to match the look downtown.
The City will be hosting an open house to show off the plans for this
project and answer questions for the general public as well as the
citizens along North Holladay Drive. The open house will take place on
September 8, 2015 between the hours of 6 and 8 pm at City Hall.
