Sector Columbia River reports to Coast Guard District 13 in Seattle, Wash., which is part of Coast Guard Pacific Area in Alameda,Calif. Sector Columbia River
has nine sub-units: Air Station Astoria, Station Grays Harbor, Station Cape Disappointment, Station Portland, Station Tillamook Bay, and the Marine Safety
Unit (which has three sub-units itself in the cutter/buoy tender Bluebell in Portland and two aids to navigation teams -- one in Astoria, one in Kennewick).
