In 1996, D enele began teaching d ance to three stu d ents in a
sm all garage Seasid e. T he popu larity of her classes grew rapid ly
and E ncore D ance Stu d io w as established . In 2009, D enele
opened a second stu d io in W arrenton. E ncore D ance Stu d io
offers 70 classes per w eek in tw o locations and hom e to an
P erform ing A rts P reschool, an innovative learning experience
that also prepares child ren acad em ically and
socially for entering school. E ncore’s d iverse
and talented instru ctors m ake for an
ou tstand ing experience for child ren and
ad u lts of all ages. T his fall w e em bark on
ou r 20th A nniversary C elebration season!

age of 2½ . She grew u p training w ith P ortland ’s
best, L ynn Johnson-W iltshire, Sally M ack, Vicki M ills, and
D ebbie P ierce. She w as professionally ed u cated and trained in
T ap, Jazz, B allet, P ointe, H aw aiian, G ym nastics, and B allroom
D ancing. D enele continu es to participate in d ance sem inars and
conventions bringing fresh perspectives to d ance ed u cation.
From the age of 8, D enele began com petitive ballroom d ancing
and com peted all over the N orthw est and C anad a. H er ballet
training and d esire to be on stage, land ed her a role w ith B allet
W est for their perform ances of the N u tcracker at the K eller
A u d itoriu m .

cheerlead ing program at Seasid e H igh School in 2009 and
volu nteered as the coach u ntil 2013. D enele also prod u ced the
M iss C latsop C ou nty P rogram and w as the C ontestant
C horeographer for the M iss O regon program s from 1996 to
2007.
