Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Gearhart Zoning and
Development Code the Gearhart City Council will hold a public hearing
on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., Gearhart City Hall, 698
Pacific Way, Gearhart, Oregon.
Said hearing is to consider an application submitted by Margaret
Chapman requesting to vacate a 10ʼ by approximately 200ʼ portion of
D Street west of South Ocean Avenue and adjacent to the applicantʼs
north lot line at 402 S Ocean Avenue, further described as Assessors
Plat 6 10 9AC Tax Lot 800. Criteria relevant to the application are
Zoning Ordinance Article 11 Street and Alley Vacation.
A copy of the application (City file # 15-004StV), all documents and
evidence relied upon by the applicant and applicable criteria pertinent
to the request are available for review at Gearhart City Hall at the office
of Chad Sweet, 503 738-5501. Copies may be obtained at a
reasonable cost. Staff reports are available for inspection at no

or by letter addressed to Gearhart City Council, P O Box 2510,
