The 30th anniversary celebration of “The Goonies” brought thousands to Astoria and the North Coast. Fans of the cult classic were able to relive many of the scenes IURPWKH¿OPDQGPDNHQHZPHPRULHV Thomas captures a line of fans snaking out of the old Clatsop County Jail, the backdrop for the opening scene of the movie; a Goonie in a Sloth mask; a look at the commerce tied to the celebra- tion; and the popular Astoria Clowns car.
