PLANT IMPROVEMENT
Sealed Proposals will be received up to the hour of 2:00PM, local time, on
March 25th, 2015 by Don Snyder, Public Works Director, at City of
Warrenton City Hall, 225 South Main Avenue, PO Box 250, Warrenton,
Oregon, 97146 for the following work:
CITY OF WARRENTON WASTEWATER PLANT STORAGE BUILDING
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project consists of the following
work on site at the waste water treatment plant at 105 NE 5th Street: furnish
and install a 60ʼ x 24ʼ x 14ʼ pre-engineered post frame building (PEPFB)
with two (3) parking bays, 10ʼ x 12ʼ high non-insulated short panel sectional
steel overhead doors, two 36” steel man doors, by Hansen Buildings or an
equivalent manufacturer, including concrete floors and electrical conduits
and appurtenances.
A mandatory pre-proposal walkthrough is scheduled for Wednesday, March
11th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the site located at 105 NE 5nd Street, Warrenton,
Oregon.
Proposals will be evaluated on cost and on qualifications and experience of
contractor. Any proposals received after the above specified time will not be
considered. The carrier, including the United States Postal Service, is
considered an agent of the proposer.
General Instructions and Contract documents may be viewed and/or obtained
from the Public Works Office, 45 S.W. 2nd Street, Warrenton Oregon,
(503)861-0912.
Proposals will be publically opened and read aloud by the Public Works
Director at 2:00 PM, local time on March 25th, 2015. All proposals must
be accompanied by a certified check, a cashierʼs check or proposal
bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total proposal. A list of
First Tier subcontractors must be received at the above address by
4:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 25th, 2015.
If the total Proposal cost exceeds $50,000.00 the contract will be subject to
Prevailing Wage Statute ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Proposer must
demonstrate proposer responsibility under ORS 279C.375(3)(b), and such
demonstration must accompany the proposal.
