Nu-Blu plays bluegrass music at the Fort ASTORIA — A happen- stance meeting in Anaheim, California, and a last-min- ute cancellation gives mu- sic lovers the opportunity to witness some world-class bluegrass music at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Fort George Brewery. Nu-Blu, a Siler City, North Carolina-based band on a national tour, happened to have a day off and an in- terest to check out the Ore- gon Coast for the first time. Recently hitting the charts with a collaboration with Sam Moore (of Sam and Dave fame), Nu-Blu will bring its finely crafted blend of banjo, mandolin, bass and guitar along with pitch-per- fect harmonies.
