Katy Perry will be the latest
big-name star to perform at
halftime of the Super Bowl and will
be joined by Lenny Kravitz. They
join an illustrious list of performers
that includes Bruce Springsteen,
Prince, The Who, Madonna and
Beyonce. Bruno Mars performed
with the Red Hot Chili Peppers at
last year's game.
The commercials have become a
cultural phenomenon as companies
have tried to one-up each other with
spots that range from quirky to
inspirational. This year's ads, which
cost advertisers about $4.4 million
for 30 seconds, will include a return
of Anheuser-Busch's Clydesdales, a
rumored spot with Lindsay Lohan,
and blockbuster movie trailers.
